First time needing a polygraph test and I didn't know what to expect going in. The intake process is very thorough in finding specifically what you're wanting the polygraph for. From there it's broken down further into specific questions you are needing asked to show what you need shown. Everything was explained in a manner that was easy to understand. The polygraph equipment was interesting, but not overbearing. I felt comfortable wearing it. I at no point felt like I was being interrogated, and the tests where practiced before hooking up the polygraph test.
Overall, I thought the test was executed well, explained clearly, and objective identification was a great place to start. Highly recommend if you need a polygraph performed
Have a question? We’re here to help.
Yes, anyone can request a polygraph test, with the age minimum typically around 12 years old. The individual’s maturity and understanding of the subject matter are considered when determining eligibility. Certain health conditions may be taken into account on a case-by-case basis.

Nervousness alone does not cause someone to “fail” a polygraph test. Most individuals, both guilty and innocent, may experience nervousness during the examination. However, an experienced polygraph examiner can distinguish between nervousness and the specific reactions of a guilty individual to certain questions.
The duration of a polygraph test depends on various factors, including the type of examination and the complexity of the issues involved. On average, a polygraph test can range from one to three hours. The examiner will provide more specific information based on the individual circumstances.
The terms “polygraph” and “lie detector” are often used interchangeably, referring to the same testing method. A polygraph test measures physiological responses such as heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory patterns to detect signs of deception.
